  Sushi Zone offers all you can eat sushi, appetizers, noodle dishes, and desserts at an extremely reasonable price.  Located in Chinatown, a few miles from the strip, they have a handful of tables, as well as some sushi counter seating.  
  
  Lunch ($20) / Dinner ($24) - My party ordered nigiri (salmon, seared tuna, halibut, octopus, and yellow tail), takoyaki (deep fried battered balls with bits of octopus in it), fish croquettes, Korean beef kalbi ribs, calamari, shrimp tempura, rainbow roll, sex bomb roll, and a big bang roll.  I was really impressed with the quality of nigiri here as well as the rolls.  They were all so fresh.  When ordering rolls, they even offer the option to order items as a half roll, so one has an opportunity to try a roll and not waste it.   From the appetizers I enjoyed the ribs, takoyaki, and croquettes.  These are items typically not found at a sushi buffet.  I was also surprised at how fast our server was at taking our order and getting the kitchen and sushi chef to prepare each item.  I have never seen faster service at a made to order AYCE sushi place and we were in and out of here within an hour.  For dessert I went with an affogato (a shot of gelato with some espresso) and that was the perfect way to end the meal.
  
  Overall, I really enjoyed the sushi here.  The fish was fresh, the fish to rice ratio on the nigiri was perfect, there are so many yummy appetizers to choose from, and service was incredible!  This is the best AYCE sushi place I have been to, and I look forward to coming back when I'm in town as the prices are reasonable!

  With so much competition for sushi AYCE restaurants in Las Vegas, how do you choose which one to go to?  Here is a rundown of some of my thought processes:
  
  Location and circumstances - if I'm in Chinatown buying stuff to bring back to Hawaii, there are many choices in the area.  Another situation after having a poor outing at the poker tables, getting bluffed off a big pot, making bad decisions AND being sucked out on the river, like to go to the restaurant closer to the place you are staying and sulk.  A BAD idea, going in the East Las Vegas area after landing late at night and driving there with your car rental with your luggage.
  
  Service - this is a key part because most AYCE has time limits, you don't want to spend most of you time waiting for your orders.
  
  Quality - this is quite relative, you should adjust your expectations to the AYCE level.  Remember value for the price and quantity.
  
  Variety - a good AYCE menu should include some premium items such as hamachi/salmon kama (fish collar), uni (sea urchin), sweet shrimp, which usually is limited one order per person.
  
  Why do I bring these points up for Sushi Zone?  They hit most of the points above except for location and circumstances which they have no control over.
  
  Why not 5 stars?  The sashimi and poke options (limit one for both) are not as fresh, a day or two from spoiling.  But that doesn't take away the items on the menu which are good.  One example is the hamachi kama, you get a very large piece and was cooked very well.  Another must order is the pork belly.
  
  Recommended and near the top of my list for AYCE sushi restaurants in Las Vegas.

  I waited two weeks to write this review because I did not want to be overly influenced by my emotions.  
  
  I took a friend from out of town here, raving about how great the food is and how it's my favorite sushi place in Vegas.  We ordered, we ate, everything was great.  She was done a lot sooner than I was and we had been there for maybe 45 minutes.  A female server came over to check on us and I ordered a few more pieces of sushi.  Her eyes widened and she asked, "more food???"  I was so surprised and did not know how to respond but I was deeply offended.  I go to buffets often and have never had a server make comments on how much food I ate.  Not even the older Korean ladies who don't seem to practice much etiquette.  I'm a good customer: I never waste food, order more than I can eat, or stay over the time limit.  I'm always polite and friendly to the servers and leave a decent tip.  
  
  I asked her for clarification and she said that she's surprised that I am so slim and can eat so much.  That's a valid opinion but it's not professional or appropriate for a server to comment on a customer's weight or how much she eats.  Just doesn't seem right.  If her comment came from a friend or relative (especially older female Asian relative lol) there would be no problem, even funny.  But coming from a server I do not know personally, it was beyond what was professional.
  
  I still tipped $4 (we split the check) but left feeling uncomfortable and accused.  I love the food here and have always been happy with the service the past 6 or 7 time I've been there.  But I feel nervous to come back  in the future in case more comments and opinions are made out loud about my weight or eating habits.  Life is hard already.  We are all dealing with daily stress and the pressure of being judged and trying to be resilient in the face of it all.  The last thing a customer needs is hear open judgment and criticism from her server on her weight and what she orders at an AYCE sushi buffet.

  I understand that when you go to all you can eat restaurant the quality of the sushi is not as good as most a la cart restaurants and this was no difference. The nigiri wasn't very tasty, the pieces were also very thin.
  
  Part of the menu was limited during the lunch hour.
  The rolls were also the same story. I would probably recommend the big bang roll which was baked and full of cheese.
  The prices were pretty reasonable $19.95 for lunch and 23.95 for dinner.
  
  The decore was probably my favorite part. It's pretty modern and cute.
  Overall, the place is just ok, I would probably recommend another place.

  LOVE IT!!! Like any other sushi joint but better. Small rice balls on the nigiri, less limited items, and tastier desserts. MUST TRY THE TIRAMISU
